Sometimes though you all need is a bit of determination and purpose.
In January I went on a medical mission in the Philippines. There I met Dr Adriene Miller from the USA.
She is quite amazing, because she started off her career as a singer and musician. Later she became nurse.
Then, aged 55, she decided to become a doctor. She qualified when she was over 60 years old (!) and now runs a practice in the USA.
But here’s the thing. She has a medical condition that she was born with. I do not know the medical term but her spine is almost shaped like a question mark.
She looks frail and disabled. She is anything but.
She was quite awesome getting involved in almost everything we did.
So I would like to thank Dr Miller for reminding me in the flesh and showing me that if one has purpose and determination, nothing stops us getting to the ultimate goal.
