As many of you know, I love money and wealth, but I also believe in being fulfilled.
In my line of business, I see many medical professionals. From the outside, they seem to have it all: nice big houses, flashy cars, fancy eating joints, branded clothing, and expensive private schools.
And although you also know many medical professionals, they will tell me things they will never tell you. Many of them will say to me it is not enough. In some cases, they tell me they are miserable. In most cases, they may not be sad but feel something is missing. They think it is a bit of a rat race without the rats.
And you may be in that place, too. It is unlikely you will tell anyone either.
Many of you also know that I am a bit of an admirer of Tony Robbins. This man has coached millions of people, many of whom are like you and me. But there are others, too. You might know them: former president Bill Clinton, Hugh Jackman, the late Diana Princess of Wales, and Serena Williams, to name a few.
He has also spent most of his life exploring what makes one happy. He has found that to be fulfilled, one must a) constantly grow and b) give.
Now I know what you are thinking. You give all the time because you are a medical professional. Yeah …. Unfortunately, that does not count. That is because there is a trade. And that trade is money. It would help if you gave back without the expectation of a return.

Every year, MediSuccess organises medical missions to the Philippines with Tripsplus. We go to remote, impoverished Filipino communities to provide free medical, dental and game-changing nutritional education.

Here is what I do know. You could be successful, whether financially, professionally, or in a relationship. But that does not mean you are fulfilled. If you have success but are not fulfilled, that is the ultimate failure.
Remember Robbin Williams? He had it all: millions of fans, immense wealth, an Academy Award, two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Golden Globe Awards, five Grammy Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. And he committed suicide because he was not fulfilled.
I have had the privilege of doing many things in my life. One of the proudest and most fulfilling is giving back on a medical mission, and I am grateful and amazed that I grow every time.
